About the role

Deliver high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy services within the Surgical, Treatment and Rehabilitation Service (STARS), supporting patients across the continuum of care. Working as part of an interprofessional team, you will contribute to the delivery of collaborative, patient-centred rehabilitation care to optimise functional outcomes and support recovery for patients and their families.

This role involves assessing, planning, and implementing physiotherapy interventions within established clinical frameworks, while managing a defined clinical caseload. As your experience develops, you will increasingly apply independent clinical judgement to more complex presentations, supported by senior clinicians. You will play an important role in delivering value-based care, ensuring interventions are effective, appropriate, and aligned to patient goals.

Working within a dynamic and digitally enabled environment, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across hospital and community settings, contributing to integrated service delivery. The role provides opportunities to develop clinical expertise in rehabilitation, participate in clinical education and quality improvement initiatives, and support the supervision of students and less experienced practitioners.

STARS is a large specialist rehabilitation facility with a strong focus on innovation, research, and continuous improvement. This position offers exposure to a wide range of rehabilitation services and supports ongoing professional growth within a contemporary allied health environment.
