About the role

As the Graduate Radiographer Clinician, you'll provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services while developing your clinical skills across a diverse range of imaging modalities.

Working within a supportive multidisciplinary team, you'll gain valuable hands-on experience, apply your clinical knowledge in real-world settings, and build confidence through ongoing professional development.

In this role, you'll participate in a 24/7 roster, including shift work, weekends and on-call duties, delivering exceptional patient care while working with modern imaging equipment and experienced clinicians.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:

  • Skills in the areas of general and emergency radiography, fluoroscopy, mobile and operating theatre, procedures and CT.
  • Builds rapport with patients and demonstrates empathy, patience and respect in delivering a flexible service that meets patient's needs.
  • Respect for others, remaining flexible, fair and willing to compromise when dealing with team members.
  • Understands and adheres to quality systems and processes and proactively identifies areas for improvement.
  • Direction and vision for self-development, showing initiative in learning and a willingness to share information with others.
  • Honesty, integrity and respect for all patients, carers and staff.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
  • Possession of a tertiary qualification or equivalent establishing eligibility for a Statement of Accreditation or its recognised equivalent from the Australian Society of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy
  • Registered as a Medical Radiation Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Hold a current Use Licence issued by Radiation Health, Queensland.
