Teacher Aide - Boonah State High School

Boonah State High School is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Teacher Aide to support students and teachers in delivering positive learning outcomes. You will support classroom activities, prepare resources, assist individual students and small groups, help maintain a safe, inclusive learning
environment, assist with supervision, excursions and administrative tasks.

About the Role:
- Contribute to the provision of a quality educational service by assisting and supporting teachers with the preparation and enhancement of learning materials and associated activities.
- Candidates must possess high level computer skills and be able to work on a broad range of computer applications including Microsoft Office, Canva/Adobe.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting teachers and students with events, school excursions and sporting activities.
- Ability to create resources to support classroom delivery.
- Maintaining records on activities for use in reviewing effectiveness of programs.
- Communicating effectively and displaying high level of interpersonal skills to function as an effective team member.
- Displaying respect and empathy for students with high level needs.
- Assisting in the supervision of education activities, under the direction of a teacher.
