Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service delivers a comprehensive range of public dental services across Far North Queensland through the Oral Health Service. The service forms part of Queensland Health's public oral health care system and is committed to improving access to high quality patient centred care. Services are delivered across community‑based clinics and health facilities, supporting preventive care, assessment, treatment, and emergency oral health services for both adults and children.

About your opportunity:
In this position you will….
- Provide high quality oral health therapy services and oral health promotion to eligible clients in fixed and mobile facilities located in hospital, community and school environments.
- Professionally manage an oral health professional team and provide mentorship and supervision of students and less experienced oral health staff to achieve oral health service targets within relevant time frames while maintaining high-quality clinical outcomes and ensuring optimal use of available resources.
- Liaise with other health disciplines and community stakeholders in health promotion initiatives focused on the prevention of oral health disease. Provide information sessions to other departments on oral health issues.
