What your day could look like
You'll play a pivotal role in creating workplaces where people feel respected, supported and empowered to deliver their best. Your work will help leaders make confident, fair decisions, strengthening teams and ultimately enhancing care for the community you serve.
Every day, you'll contribute by:
- Partnering with leaders to navigate complex matters, delivering fair and practical outcomes that build trust
- Coaching managers to grow their confidence in leading teams with compassion, integrity and clarity
- Leading sensitive and high-impact cases, ensuring consistency, respect and professionalism in every step
- Contributing to a stronger future by identifying trends and shaping improvements that support a positive workplace culture
Let's talk about you!
You bring both expertise and heart to your work. You understand that workplace relations isn't just about policy, it's about people. You lead conversations with empathy and courage, build trust through integrity, and bring thoughtful judgement to even the most complex situations. What motivates you is the chance to make a genuine difference, helping leaders and teams navigate challenges and create workplaces where people feel valued and supported.
Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
- Strong experience managing complex workplace relations matters, ideally in a large or diverse environment
- Confident communication and influencing skills, with the ability to guide and partner with leaders at all levels
- Sound judgement and analytical capability to navigate sensitive issues and deliver balanced outcomes
- A proactive, organised approach to managing multiple priorities while maintaining quality and care
You'll stand out from the crowd if you bring tertiary qualifications in human resources or a related field and/or experience working in regional, public sector or similarly complex environments.
Most importantly, you're passionate about creating fair, respectful workplaces and contributing to a service that values compassion, dignity, integrity, innovation and courage.
In this role, you'll help shape a workplace culture where people feel supported to grow, perform and care for their community with pride.
