Join Ward 5B, an acute medical, acute stroke, palliative care, immunology, and rheumatology ward, on a permanent part time basis (Thursday to Saturday morning shifts available). We are seeking reliable AIN's who want a long-term future in healthcare and are ready to grow with a supportive and high performing team.

Your new role:

As an Assistant in Nursing, you will work closely with Registered Nurses and the wider healthcare team to provide safe, person-centred care to patients. You'll support daily patient care activities, contribute to the smooth operation of the ward, and help create a positive experience for patients and their families. Your commitment to compassion, teamwork and quality care will be highly valued within this busy clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Registered Nurses in delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Observe and report patient needs, concerns and changes in condition.
  • Support the implementation of care plans under RN supervision.
  • Provide compassionate, respectful and person-centred care.
  • Maintain a safe, clean and comfortable environment for patients.

About you:

You are a caring and motivated individual who enjoys working as part of a healthcare team. You understand the importance of providing respectful and compassionate care and are committed to supporting patients through their healthcare journey. You bring a positive attitude, strong communication skills and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Ward 5B is a 24-bed inpatient ward providing patient cantered care to patients with acute medical illnesses, Acute Stroke, Palliative Care, Immunology and Rheumatology patients. Ward 5B actively embraces and incorporates evidenced based nursing practices with innovative models of care delivery aimed at improving quality outcomes for its specific client population and staff.
