Your new role:
As a Mental Health Clinician, you will play a vital role in supporting consumers experiencing mental health crises within the Emergency Department setting. Working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team, you will provide comprehensive assessments, interventions and care planning to achieve the best possible outcomes for patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive mental health assessments, crisis interventions and discharge planning within the Emergency Department.
- Provide evidence-based, patient-centred care while working collaboratively within an interprofessional team.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to service reporting requirements.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, research activities, student supervision and professional development opportunities.
