Your new role:

You will provide advanced clinical expertise, consultancy and leadership to support safe, high-quality healthcare across Bayside Health Service. Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, you will drive infection prevention strategies, surveillance programs, staff education and quality improvement initiatives, ensuring compliance with national standards while enhancing patient, staff and community safety. This influential role combines clinical excellence, education, governance and service-wide collaboration to deliver best-practice infection prevention outcomes.

About you:

You are a passionate and experienced infection prevention professional who thrives on improving patient safety, influencing best practice and leading quality healthcare outcomes across diverse clinical environments. You will have:

  • Extensive expertise in Infection Prevention and Control, with strong knowledge of national standards and contemporary evidence-based practice.
  • Proven ability to provide advanced clinical leadership, consultancy and support to multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience coordinating infection surveillance programs, managing occupational exposure incidents and driving quality improvement initiatives.
  • Highly developed communication and education skills, with the ability to deliver effective training and influence positive practice change.
  • Collaborative and proactive approach, building strong relationships with clinicians, leaders and stakeholders to achieve outstanding patient and service outcomes.
