About your role
As a Finance Officer, you will provide financial and management accounting support that contributes to effective planning, performance monitoring and financial compliance across Community & Oral Health Services.
In this role, you will:
- Prepare and review financial transactions and general ledger accounts
- Perform reconciliations, journal entries and payroll adjustments
- Maintain asset registers and support procurement processes
- Assist with monthly management reporting and budget monitoring
- Analyse financial, activity and statistical data against budgets
- Support annual financial statements and end-of-year activities
- Support Financial Management Assurance Testing activities
About you
You are an organised and customer-focused finance professional with strong analytical skills and a passion for delivering quality outcomes.
You will demonstrate:
- Experience working with financial systems and accounting processes
- Knowledge of S/4HANA or the ability to quickly acquire system expertise
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Ability to prioritise work and manage competing deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Power BI
- Ability to analyse financial and operational information
- Relevant qualifications in Accounting or Business will be highly regarded
