About your role

As a Food Services Officer, you will support the delivery of safe, efficient and high-quality food services for patients, staff and visitors across Bayside Health Service

In this role, you will:

• Prepare, assemble and distribute meals and beverages
• Deliver meals accurately and efficiently to patients
• Support kitchen, ward, retail and function food service areas
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and cleaning standards
• Assist with stock handling, rotation and storage activities
• Operate equipment safely and complete required records
• Provide respectful and professional customer service

About you

You are reliable, customer-focused and enjoy working as part of a team. 

You will demonstrate:

• Commitment to safe food handling and hygiene practices
• Ability to follow procedures and work instructions accurately
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Flexibility to work across different food service areas
• Understanding of food safety principles is highly regarded
