Your opportunity: 

  • The Clinical Director General Surgery will build and lead an exceptional performing team, delivery excellent surgical clinical care, fostering a rich training and learning environment and develop the strategic academic vision.
  • Clinical Director will be a champion in creating a culture of safety and support Wide Bay's goal of being a great place to work and a great place to receive care.

Opportunity for Private Practice: 

The successful candidate may have the opportunity to establish private practice outside of their WBHHS appointment with local private hospitals.  The successful candidate may receive assistance and concessions with:

  • Use of the local private hospital's sessional rooms to allow establishment of practice and referral pathways
  • Assistance with credentialling and administrative support to commence private practice
  • Introduction to local GP's, physicians and surgeons to facilitate referral pathways.

Our offer:

We are offering a competitive remuneration package value up to $579,010 p.a., including salary between $259,072 - $274,678 p.a.,  generous employer superannuation (up to 12.75%), annual leave loading (17.5%), professional development allowance, motor vehicle allowance, clinical managers allowance salary sacrifice perks, and flexible rostering for optimal work/life balance.  Job Ad Reference: H2606WB684873
