About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrate an advanced level of knowledge, skills, experience and clinical leadership within the professional and/or multidisciplinary team, in the area of Critical Care and Surgery Physiotherapy. Demonstrate ability to integrate multiple sources of clinical evidence into practice to create solutions to complex case work.
- Undertake the professional leadership of Physiotherapists working across Critical Care and Surgery units of West Moreton HHS including the supervision and development of staff to ensure effective and highly accountable practice.
- Broad understanding of the continuum of care, and well developed interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, including the ability to work autonomously and flexibly with initiative in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
- Applies clinical evidence that support continuous improvement, including the ability to initiate, plan, implement and evaluate local quality and service improvement activities, ensuring that facility or HHS initiatives are integrated into clinical practice, organisational work unit guidelines and policy.
- Provide clinical practice supervision to all Physiotherapy staff, Allied Health Assistants and students to ensure the maintenance of professional clinical standards. Develop and maintain strong internal and external networks and proactively develop self, including maintaining contemporary Physiotherapy knowledge, management and organisational strategies.
- Demonstrated advanced level of leadership and contribution to an innovative service delivery model across the continuum which includes leading proficient change management and initiating, planning and evaluating improvement activities which can be readily applied to a hospital and health service environment
