Senior Project Officer
Permits; Permissions Management & Ecotourism; Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service & Partnerships; Flexible
This position sits within the Terrestrial Permits Team in the Permissions Management & Ecotourism branch and contributes to the development and implementation of policy and procedural documents associated with the sustainable visitor use and other activities conducted on Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS) managed areas, including jointly managed areas across the State. It will also assist the team in meeting the requirements of the Commonwealth and State native title and cultural heritage legislation. The position supports administrative compliance concerning permissions issued by the Permissions Management team.

What you need for this role:

- Sound knowledge of tourism and recreation in relation to projects and policy impacting regional operations and QPWS managed estates.
