Your new role:

As a Radiographer, you will provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services across a diverse range of clinical environments, including Emergency, Operating Theatres, Orthopaedics, Gastroenterology, inpatient wards and ICU. Key responsibilities include:

  • Perform routine radiography and fluoroscopy examinations using fixed and mobile imaging equipment.
  • Deliver safe, patient-centred imaging services in accordance with professional standards and radiation safety requirements.
  • Collaborate effectively with medical, nursing and allied health professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Utilise hospital and radiology information systems to support efficient service delivery.

 

About you:

You are a motivated and patient-focused Radiographer who is eager to learn, grow and contribute to a high-performing Medical Imaging team. Skills and experience:

  • Degree qualification in Medical Imaging Technology (Diagnostic Radiography) and AHPRA registration (or eligibility).
  • Strong clinical knowledge with the ability to deliver safe and effective radiography services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to patient-centred care.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

About us:

The Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH) is a tertiary health care centre providing care in most major adult specialties. We provide world class health care to Brisbane City's southern suburbs across emergency, medical, mental health and surgical services, including liver and kidney transplant.

We are nationally recognised for our expertise in trauma management and organ transplants and are one of Australia's leading academic and research health centres. The PAH as a major medical research precinct hosts Australia's most advanced medical research facility, the Translational Research Institute (TRI) as well as a new Clinical Research Facility for the discoveries made at TRI to be trialed in a safe clinical environment.

We're expanding our hospital to make sure everyone gets the care they need. We're adding more beds, modernising our buildings, and improving our spaces to treat kidney and cancer patients with all new services and facilities planned to open by 2027.
