About your role

As a Food Services Officer – Barista, you will provide safe, efficient and high-quality food and beverage services across Redland Hospital. 

In this role, you will:

• Prepare and serve quality coffee and beverages
• Deliver excellent customer service in retail areas
• Assist with meal preparation and food service activities
• Support kitchen, ward and café operations as required
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and cleaning standards
• Operate coffee equipment and report maintenance issue

About you

You are passionate about customer service and working as part of a team. 

You will demonstrate:

• Experience preparing quality coffee and beverages
• Ability to work effectively within a busy team environment
• Commitment to safe food handling and hygiene practices
• Reliable work ethic and strong attention to detail
• Effective time management and organisational skills
• Flexibility to work across different food service areas
• Understanding of food safety principles is highly regarded
