To fully support you, we have structured this position to include two days of hands-on contact time guiding our classrooms and three days of non-contact time for your management responsibilities. About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Collaborate with educators and provide curriculum inspiration, advice and guidance to ensure positive learning and developmental outcomes for all children at the service.
- Lead and monitor the development and implementation of a quality and effective educational program at the service.
- Support educators to effectively implement the cycle of planning to enhance programs.
- Ensure that children's learning and development are guided by the learning outcomes of the approved learning frameworks.
- Guide and develop the educators and families' understandings about play based learning and the significance of the early years in the education continuum for children.
