Springwood State High School, located in the heart of the local community, is seeking to fill exciting vacancies. Springwood State High School is a growing school with a strong focus on care for all staff, students and the wider community. We are looking for staff passionate about providing opportunities for student success and preparing them for life beyond school.
Current Opportunities:
- Design and Technologies (Food specialisations) - Year 7-10 (Temporary, 13/07/2026 - 11/12/2026)
- The Food Specialisation teacher will be involved in planning and delivering food technology classes to Years 7 to 10 and Certificate courses to Year 11 and 12 students. It is highly desirable for the successful applicant to have a Cert IV in Training and Assessing and a Cert II in Hospitality and or Tourism.
- Digital Technologies - Year 7-10 (Permanent)
- The successful applicant will be able to work with a team delivering Digital Technologies to students currently in Year 7 and Year 8. They will also work on the development of a new program to be delivered to Year 9 and 10 in 2027.
- Mathematics / Science - Year 7-12 (Permanent)
- Inclusion - Year 7-12 (Temporary, 13/07/2026 - 11/12/2026)
- The successful applicant will be part of a team providing the highest levels of support for students around the school. They will also be supporting teachers in the development of unit plans and assessment as part of the students ICP requirements. The successful applicant will also be given students to case manage to support the students and their families.
