Key responsibilities
• Undertake a specialist procurement role within a team led by the Senior Advisor (Procurement), providing high level advice across the full procurement lifecycle for the North Coast Region.
• Provide accurate and timely advice and support to a range of stakeholders across the region for a full range of procurement functions from low-risk goods and services to complex infrastructure road construction contracts.
• Assist in the effective delivery of procurement of the North Coast Region's Queensland Transport & Road Investment Program (QTRIP) by:
• Providing authoritative advice and direction in relation to procurement of low to medium risk requirements to ensure maximum value and benefit from supplier relationships.
• Compliance with departmental policies and procedures and QPP 2026.
• Deliver medium to high-risk procurements by assisting the procurement team with higher risk processes including:
• Providing and assisting project managers complete Invitation to Offer to Tender and Request for Quote documents on Road Infrastructure Projects.
• Providing advice on the development of key performance indicators.
•Procurement plans.
•Assist with evaluations plans and award.
•Coordinate tender assessments.
• Provide assistance and advice on high-risk processes in effective management of the Tender process, including administering Tenders and Quotations via an E- Tendering system (QTenders), managing clarification process, supporting and assisting/ finalising the Contract award process.
• Support the successful delivery of positive outcomes for supply arrangements (SOAs, CFEP, IBCP) through rigorous and systematic supplier performance and contract management reporting.
• Jointly monitor and manage shared email accounts.
• Proactively build and maintain effective relationships, internally within the region, Chief Procurement Office and Infrastructure Management and Delivery team.
• Maintain accurate procurement information systems and recordkeeping practices.
• Effectively discharge procurement delegations to range of procurement activities that are transparent and accountable.
• Supporting and coaching procurement officers, ensure appropriate skill sets and training needs are identified and developed.

• Due to this role having access to sensitive data, a criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment to the role.
