Your opportunity:
- To establish a collaborative midwifery service with individualised continuity of care through pregnancy, labour and the early postnatal period. The Midwifery Group Practice (MGP) midwife will work in a caseload model with the authority, responsibility and accountability for the achievement of quality care and monitoring of outcomes for her allocated women, with the aim to improve satisfaction on both sides, increase autonomy and return to a wellness model of care.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the MGP using primary health care principles to enhance options of care and improve outcomes for women by providing services within a social, holistic and primary health care framework ensuring women are supported through all phases of pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period and ensuring a feeling of involvement in all aspects of their care.
Temporary Full Time (76 hours p.f.) from date of appointment for 12 months.

Our offer:
You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $127,861 p.a., comprising salary between $87,368 - $112,064 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 5) (Temporary Full Time, 76 hours p.f., from date of appointment for 12 months.)
