3 x teacher aide positions available:

  • 1 X 0.79 FTE - 60 hours per fortnight - PERMANENT
  • 1 x 0.79 FTE - 60 hours per fortnight - TEMPORARY UNTIL 11.12.2026
  • 1 x 0.47 FTE - 36 hours per fortnight - PERMANENT

The ideal candidate can adapt to changing priorities, support students across multiple year levels and support students with diverse learning needs.

Our staff work closely together, communicate openly and support and celebrate our success as a team. Flexibility to adapt to the needs of our students through the day is an important skill that the successful candidate must possess as we navigate the competing agenda's and unpredictability that may occur through the working day.

The successful application should be able to build positive connections with students, families and school staff while contributing and supporting our school culture.

Responsibilities include:

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children and support their learning and wellbeing.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff and families.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a small team and follow teacher direction.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional standards.
  • Sound organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to support students across multiple year levels in a multi-age classroom setting.
  • Ability to work with students diverse learning needs and backgrounds
  • Basic digital literacy skills, including the ability to use computers and educational technologies.
  • A commitment to creating a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Highly desirable:

  • Previous experience as a Teacher Aide or in an educational setting.
  • Experience supporting Literacy and Numeracy programs.
  • Experience working with EAL/D learners.
  • Experience supporting students with diverse learning needs.
  • Current First Aid and CPR qualifications.
  • Experience working in a small school.
