Yarrabilba State School is seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Administration Officerto join our Administration team.

This role is responsible for providing high-quality administrative support across a range of front office functions while also managing key accounts receivable processes. The successful applicant will be the first point of contact for many students, parents, staff and community members, requiring strong interpersonal and communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

About the Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing reception and front office support to students, parents, staff and visitors.
  • Managing accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, receipting and debtor management.
  • Supporting school administrative operations and record management systems.
  • Assisting with student administration, enrolments and general enquiries.
  • Maintaining accurate financial and administrative records.
  • Working collaboratively as part of a busy administration team to support the day-to-day operations of the school.

The successful applicant will demonstrate strong organisational skills, the ability to manage competing priorities, proficiency in computer-based administrative systems, and a commitment to confidentiality, professionalism and teamwork.

Experience in school administration, financial administration, accounts receivable, OneSchool, SAP or Department of Education systems would be highly regarded.
