As a Senior Ranger, you will lead and coordinate the delivery of key operational programs across Springvale Station Nature Refuge, including fire, pest and erosion management, natural resource protection and infrastructure projects. You'll manage day-to-day property operations, oversee contracts and procurement processes, and ensure compliance with legislative and safety requirements while delivering outcomes aligned to regional priorities.
A key part of the role is building strong relationships with Traditional Owners, neighbours and stakeholders, working collaboratively to care for Country and achieve sustainable land management outcomes. You will also lead a small team, manage resources and budgets, coordinate emergency response and recovery activities, and provide high-quality advice, reporting and briefings. This role suits a confident and adaptable leader who brings strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills, and is motivated by making a meaningful impact in conservation and land management.
