About us:
Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service provide an extensive range of health services at more than 30 regional, rural and remote facilities across a geographical area of 142,900 square kilometres. The Health Service is 95 percent self-sufficient with only a small number of high-level acute services being provided in Townsville and Brisbane.

Key responsibilities:
- Provide high-level administrative and executive support to the CEO.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, briefs, presentations, and meeting materials.
- Act as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support project coordination, follow-up actions, and deadline tracking.
- Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Anticipate needs, prioritise tasks, and resolve issues proactively.

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess information and identify priorities.
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, think ahead, and manage multiple demands.
- High level of professionalism, judgement, and discretion.
- Experience supporting senior executives or C-suite leaders is highly regarded.
