Redcliffe State High School is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic and student-focused Teacher Aide to join our vibrant and dynamic school community.

This role provides an exciting opportunity to work closely with students and staff across a range of educational settings, supporting student learning, wellbeing and participation. .

Working as part of a collaborative and supportive team, the successful applicant will contribute to the delivery of quality educational outcomes by assisting teachers in the preparation and implementation of learning activities, supporting student engagement, and helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

This position is being offered in a Temporary Part-Time capacity (0.79FTE), 60 hours per fortnight.

About the Role:

  • Contribute to the provision of a quality educational service by assisting and supporting teachers with the preparation and enhancement of learning materials and associated activities.
  • The successful candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, a commitment to teamwork, and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff and families.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisted teachers with classroom, sporting, excursion, and supervision activities.
  • Supported students' learning, literacy, numeracy, and wellbeing needs.
  • Maintained student records and assisted with administrative and clerical tasks.
  • Managed teaching resources, equipment, and classroom materials.
  • Provided support for students with additional and special needs.
  • Demonstrated strong communication, teamwork, confidentiality, and professionalism.
  • Contributed to student health, safety, and first aid support.
  • Assisted with school events, off-site activities, and general school operations.
