  • Salary range: $93,556 to $103,074 p.a. (AO4)
  • 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
  • Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available

About your opportunity:

The Research Coordinator for the Clinical Trials Multi-Specialties Team at Townsville University Hospital will play a key role in supporting the establishment, coordination and conduct of clinical trials in accordance with the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC), Good Clinical Practice (GCP) Guidelines, and International Council for Harmonisation (ICH) standards.  The position provides operational, and administrative support across a range of clinical trial activities. This includes coordination of research governance submissions and reporting requirements, trial documentation and database management, meeting coordination, and broader unit administration.

Requirements:

  • Highly Desirable: 
    • Previous experience providing administrative, governance or research support within a healthcare, medical research or clinical trials environment.
    • Experience supporting clinical research activities, including research governance submissions, ethics processes, clinical trial documentation or research coordination activities.
  • This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
  • Probation period may apply.
  • Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
