What your day could look like
As a Senior Health Worker, you'll play a vital role in strengthening wellbeing outcomes across the community, supporting culturally safe care and meaningful connections. From working closely with families to guiding service improvements, you'll be part of a team committed to better health and stronger futures.
Every day, you'll contribute by:
- Delivering culturally safe, evidence-informed support that improves wellbeing for individuals and families
- Building trusted relationships and coordinating care with health professionals, services and community partners
- Leading culturally informed initiatives that strengthen service quality and community engagement
- Using insights and data to guide improvements and create better outcomes across programs

Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
- Relevant qualification in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care
- Demonstrated experience supporting social and emotional wellbeing in community settings
- Strong relationship-building skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams
- Confidence in mentoring, advocacy and contributing to service improvement
You'll stand out if you bring experience working across rural or community-led health settings and/or additional training in primary health care practice.
Most importantly, you're passionate about strengthening community wellbeing and committed to creating lasting, positive change through culturally safe care.
