What your day could look like

As a Clinical Nurse – Adult Community Mental Health, you'll play a vital role in supporting adults across the community to achieve recovery and wellbeing. Working autonomously while connected to a multidisciplinary team, you'll help shape safe, effective care that meets people where they are and supports meaningful outcomes.

Every day, you'll contribute by:

  • Delivering person-centred mental health care that supports recovery, independence and improved wellbeing
  • Leading clinical decisions and coordinating care plans tailored to complex needs
  • Partnering with colleagues, services and community agencies to achieve shared goals
  • Driving quality and safety improvements that strengthen outcomes for consumers and the wider community

Here's what will help you thrive in this role:

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the appropriate national board
  • Strong experience in mental health care, including assessment, case management and care coordination
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
  • Advanced clinical judgement, communication skills and commitment to safe, high-quality care

You'll stand out from the crowd if you bring experience working in rural or community settings and/or postgraduate qualifications or credentials in mental health nursing.
