About the opportunity
- Maintain oversight of data lifecycle management, including collection, entry, validation, storage, and security.
- Ensure compliance with data standards, governance frameworks, and audit requirements (NHDD, QHAPDC, and relevant clinical registries).
- Implement and monitor data quality assurance processes, identifying and rectifying discrepancies.
- Uphold patient confidentiality and data security, ensuring compliance with the Privacy Act and organisational policies.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a temporary full-time role, commencing ASAP - 30/06/2027.
The ideal applicant will be someone who has proven ability and can demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrated ability in data management.
- Knowledge and experience in using hospital systems including HBCIS, ieMR, Auslab, Metavision, ROTEM, Comet, Ambflight, Air Maestro and Excel.
- Ability to work with minimal direction.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Medical Terminology.
- Demonstrate the ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to work with a range of professionals.
Role requirements
- While not mandatory, a relevant administrative qualification would be well regarded.
- While not mandatory, a comprehensive knowledge of medical terminology would be well regarded.
- This is a VPD risk role. Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis.

- Salary range: $3586.00 - $3950.80 p.f. (AO4)
