Field Training Coordinator

RoadTek Central Queensland are seeking a professional and dedicated team member to join their team in Rockhampton. In this full-time opportunity, you will deliver required training on the tools, systems, and processes used in civil construction and maintenance, while regularly reviewing training and assessing staff to ensure they have the skills needed for the job.

In this dynamic role, some of your responsibilities will include:
- Deliver and facilitate mandatory and technical training for staff to meet legislative and operational requirements, to include training and assessment of plant operators in the safe operation of plant and correct and efficient work techniques.
- Contribute to the investigation and implementation of innovative materials, plant and technology.
- Assist with vehicle and plant auditing to comply with legislative requirements and ensure consistency in processes and standards, including maintenance of assessment and training records and licences.
- Monitor the delivery of service inspections of plant, machinery and lifting equipment statewide to comply with legislative requirements, including monitoring and reporting on the Fleet Maintenance Management System requirements for departmentally utilised plant and equipment.
Mandatory qualifications and conditions:
- Due to this role having access to sensitive data, a criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment to the role.
- Applicants must possess a current, valid Queensland "C" class driver's licence or equivalent.
- Certificate III in Civil Construction (Plant operations or Road Construction and Maintenance).
