Your new role:
As the Director of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, you will provide strategic and clinical leadership for a dynamic and growing service delivering high-quality care across Logan and Beaudesert Health Service. Working closely with executive leaders, clinicians and community stakeholders, you will drive service excellence, workforce development and continuous improvement while ensuring safe, patient-centred care for women and families. In this influential leadership role, you will:
- Lead the strategic direction, development and delivery of Obstetrics & Gynaecology services across Logan and Beaudesert.
- Foster a culture of clinical excellence, collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement.
- Champion safe, high-quality, person-centred care and strong clinical governance practices.
- Drive service performance, operational priorities and key organisational objectives.
- Provide expert specialist Obstetrics & Gynaecology services, including participation in on-call and clinical rosters.
About you:
You are an accomplished Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with a passion for leadership, service improvement and delivering outstanding healthcare outcomes. You are recognised for your ability to inspire teams, build strong relationships and create environments where people and services thrive. You will bring:
- Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG), or equivalent specialist qualification.
- Eligibility for specialist registration with AHPRA in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex clinical services and multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong strategic thinking and the ability to translate vision into meaningful outcomes.

Logan Hospital:
Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.
We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.
Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
