QRIDA is seeking an individual that will provide critical governance and business support to ensure the Digital and Information Services Division operates with transparency and integrity. You will be the central point of coordination for the division's four teams, ensuring that technical delivery, data insights and operational stability align with the QRIDA Corporate Governance Framework and the Queensland Government Information Security (IS18) standards.

Job details

As the Governance Officer, you will take ownership of business initiatives, coordinating delivery while engaging with executive and operational leaders to embed sustainable improvements.

Key responsibilities include:

• Governance Support: support the CDO in developing digital policies that align with QGEA standards. 
• Security & Assurance: partner with Digital Operations to verify that enterprise systems uphold Information Security Policy (IS18) requirements.
• Requirements Alignment: ensure governance and compliance checkpoints are integrated into the Digital Delivery Office of all digital projects.
• Secretariat Services: manage the administration of Digital Steering Committees and executive-level meetings.

As the Queensland Government's experts in rural finance, we also administer the State Government's Farm Business Debt Mediation program, the Farm Debt Reconstruction Office, conduct a biennial Rural Debt Survey, undertake research and provide advice to the Minister for Agricultural Industry Development and Fisheries and Minister for Rural Communities.
