Your new role:
As the Senior Pharmacist – Informatics, you will lead the development, implementation and optimisation of pharmacy informatics solutions that enhance medication safety, service delivery and patient outcomes. Working closely with pharmacy, digital health and multidisciplinary teams, you'll drive innovation projects, support system improvements and contribute to the future of digital healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead pharmacy informatics projects, system enhancements and digital transformation initiatives.
- Provide expert advice on clinical, pharmacy and technical solutions to improve service delivery.
- Support implementation and optimisation of pharmacy technologies including automated and digital systems.
- Deliver education, training and leadership to pharmacy staff while contributing to service improvement and innovation.
- Rostered vertime and rostered participation weekend and public holiday cover, and emergency clinical on call is required.
About you:
You are an experienced pharmacist with strong informatics, project management and stakeholder engagement skills who is passionate about using technology to improve healthcare delivery.
Skills & Experience
- A post-graduate qualification in a relevant field would be a highly regarded, as would qualifications in Information Technology.
- Experience in clinical pharmacy practice, healthcare technology or informatics environments.
- Strong project management, problem-solving and change management capabilities.
- Flexibility to work variable working hours (see role description).
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary stakeholders and lead service improvement initiatives.

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.
We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.
