Your opportunity:
- The Clinical Nurse Consultant (Stroke Coordinator) provides clinical and operational leadership for the delivery of stroke teletrials within the Bridging the Urban and Regional Divide in Stroke Care (BUILDS) research project. The role leads end to end trial coordination, including participant screening and recruitment, telehealth setup and facilitation, attendance at telehealth consultations, and trial documentation records including ongoing SSA requirements ensuring high quality, patient centred care at Hervey Bay Hospital. The position works in close partnership with and supports the Site Principal Investigator in the conduct of clinical trials, ensuring adherence to protocols, regulatory and ethical requirements, and the teletrials model. The role also provides education and support to patients and staff and contributes to enabling equitable access to stroke clinical trials.
Temporary Part Time (38 hours p.f.) from date of appointment for 18 months with the possibility of extension

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $86,684 p.a., comprising salary rates $70.58 - $76.63 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 6 (1)) (Temporary Part Time, 38 hours p.f., from date of appointment for 18 months with the possibility of extension).
