About the role
- The purpose of this role is to deliver imaging services within the Department of Medical Imaging, Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital (RBWH) and the Surgical Treatment and Rehabilitation Service (STARS). Medical Imaging services includes diagnostic, interventional, emergency care and on call for CT, MRI, Angiography, Ultrasound and Xray including mobile fluoroscopy and mammography.
- This position will be required to participate in an “on call” service and/or a shift roster providing seven days per week, 24-hour service coverage.

- Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Queensland Health's core values and code of conduct.
- Perform all approved examinations with compassion, respect, and integrity.
- Deliver a routine imaging service under regular supervision from more senior clinicians.
- Engage in education, training and professional development to progress performing more complex examinations with limited supervision.
- Apply independent clinical judgement to more complex clinical decision making with limited professional guidance of a more senior clinician.
