About the role
Provide advanced clinical research leadership within the Centre for Medical Officer Recruitment and Education (CMORE), supporting the development of research capability across the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital. This role focuses on establishing and delivering a structured Research Support Service for Resident Medical Officers, enabling junior clinicians to undertake research and quality improvement activities that strengthen clinical practice and service outcomes.
You will work collaboratively with Research Services, clinicians, and academic partners to design, implement, and evaluate research initiatives, including development of protocols, grant applications, and governance processes. The role involves mentoring and supporting emerging researchers, driving research engagement, and contributing to a culture of innovation, evidence-based practice, and continuous improvement across the organisation.
