Your new role:
Join Logan Hospital's Resuscitation Service as a Clinical Nurse Consultant – Resuscitation Coordinator and play a pivotal role in advancing patient safety, clinical excellence and emergency response systems across the health service. Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, you will provide advanced clinical leadership, expert consultancy and education to support the recognition and response to deteriorating patients while driving continuous improvement in resuscitation practices.
In this influential role, you will lead hospital-wide initiatives that strengthen resuscitation capability, clinical governance and workforce development, helping to deliver safe, high-quality care for our growing community.
- Coordinate and support Medical Emergency Team (MET) and Code Blue systems.
- Lead hospital-wide Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) education programs.
- Monitor, analyse and report on resuscitation and clinical deterioration data.
- Develop, review and implement resuscitation-related policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Support the management of emergency response equipment and systems.
About you:
You are a highly experienced Registered Nurse with advanced clinical expertise in resuscitation and patient deterioration management. You are a confident clinical leader who thrives in collaborative environments and is passionate about improving patient outcomes through education, quality improvement and evidence-based practice.
- Advanced clinical knowledge and experience in resuscitation nursing and emergency response systems.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating or supporting MET and Code Blue processes.
- Experience delivering clinical education, simulation training and workforce development programs.
