About the Role:
This role is responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of infrastructure & development projects that support Queensland's housing supply & economic development objectives.
Working within the Housing Supply & Delivery team, you will lead projects from planning & procurement through to delivery & handover, while collaborating with internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors & government partners.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage multiple infrastructure, civil & building projects across various stages of the project lifecycle.
• Lead procurement, contract administration & consultant management activities.
• Develop & manage project budgets, cost plans, schedules & delivery programs.
• Coordinate approvals, operational works & stakeholder engagement activities.
• Monitor project risks, construction market trends & project performance to achieve delivery outcomes.
• Prepare high-quality project reporting & recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Support the successful delivery of housing & land activation projects across Queensland.
About You:
This role would suit a motivated & solutions focussed Senior Project Engineer that is looking for the next step. This role would also suit an experienced Project Manager or who thrives in a fast-paced environment & enjoys managing complex projects from concept through to delivery.
Ideally, you will bring strong project management capability, commercial acumen & the ability to build effective relationships with a broad range of internal & external stakeholders.

You Will Bring:
• Demonstrated experience delivering infrastructure, civil, construction or development projects.
• Strong contract management, procurement & project governance experience.
• Experience managing consultants, contractors & multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
• Excellent communication & relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence outcomes.
• Strong commercial & financial management capability, including budgeting & cost control.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to solve problems & drive project outcomes.
• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Property, or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
