We're excited to welcome a Social Worker Senior (Rotating Leave Reliever) to our Allied Health team!

Experience within an emergency department, and across acute and sub-acute areas would be highly desirable. The successful candidate will be comfortable moving across sites and clinical teams to provide valuable support for staff on well-earned leave.

This role requires a flexible and adaptable clinician who can quickly orient to new environments, build effective working relationships with multidisciplinary teams, and confidently manage psychosocial assessment, risk assessment, and discharge planning within fast-paced hospital settings. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver independent high level social work clinical practice with infrequent need for direct clinical practice supervision. Exercise professional judgement to a complex caseload, adapting routine clinical practice based on valid and reliable evidence.
• Provide high level clinical advice, education and influence towards a common patient-centred vision and direction to professional operational teams and relevant stakeholders regarding service delivery.
• Provide leadership oversight and clinical practice supervision to less experienced social work practitioners and students as delegated

Comprising salary between $4912.70 - $5286.40 p.f. (f/t) or salary rates: $64.64 - $69.55 p.h. (p/t), employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4 (Fixed term temporary positions available, part-time 53.2hrs p.f. for up to 12months months and full-time 76hrs p.f. for 3months).
