About the role
Provide advanced clinical and operational leadership as an Associate Midwife Unit Manager within the Birth Suite at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital. Working in partnership with the Midwife Unit Manager, this role supports the delivery of safe, high-quality, woman, baby, and family-centred care, while promoting clinical governance, professional standards, and a positive team culture.
You will contribute to the coordination of care delivery, support workforce development, and foster an environment of continuous learning, research, and quality improvement. The role involves applying advanced midwifery knowledge, leadership, and critical thinking to support complex clinical situations, guide staff, and ensure best practice outcomes across the Birth Suite.
