About your opportunity
The Senior Allied Health Clinician works within a multidisciplinary team consisting of both QLD Health and Department of Education staff. As a highly functioning senior multidisciplinary team member, you will demonstrate outstanding clinical services and leadership to ensure that the work unit delivers high quality, innovative, mental health and discipline specific assessment and treatment to adolescents and their families/carers.

Competitive salary and benefits:
We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.
- Salary range: $128,169 to $137,918 p.a. (HP4)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
Requirements:
Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration
- Appropriate tertiary degree qualification in either Social Work, Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy or Psychology from an accredited tertiary institution.
- Highly desirable for all disciplines: Possession of relevant post- registration and/or tertiary qualification in mental health would be well regarded for a position at this level. Eligibility for appointment as an Authorised Mental Health Practitioner under Mental Health Act 2016 would be well regarded.
- This position requires the incumbent to operate a class ‘C' motor vehicle, and an appropriate licence endorsement to operate this type of vehicle is required.
- All employees of the Mental Health Service Group may be required to work in other areas of the service.
