The successful applicant will work collaboratively with leaders, teachers, families, and support staff to strengthen inclusive practices, coordinate adjustments and interventions, and ensure students with disability are supported to achieve both academically and socially. About the Role:

Responsibilities include, but not limited to;

  • Lead and coordinate the delivery of the Special Education and/or Early Childhood Development Program, providing expert advice and support to school leaders, teachers, and staff to meet the needs of students with disability.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor effective reasonable adjustments, targeted interventions, and case management processes to support students requiring substantial or extensive adjustments.
  • Build the capacity of classroom teachers and school staff through coaching, professional development, and access to departmental and external specialist services.
  • Implement and manage school-wide systems, including student data monitoring and Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD) processes, to track progress and inform decision-making.
  • Establish and maintain collaborative partnerships with families, community organisations, and government agencies while managing program resources, staffing, facilities, and budgets to achieve school priorities and student outcomes.
