Your new role:
As Manager, Revenue Services, you will provide strategic leadership and specialist expertise across all revenue-related functions at Princess Alexandra Hospital. Leading a team of 35 professionals, you'll drive revenue optimisation initiatives, oversee financial governance and legislative compliance, develop revenue strategies and budgets, and partner with senior executives, clinicians and government stakeholders to enhance financial performance and sustainability across the hospital.
About you:
You are a strategic and commercially astute finance leader who can influence at executive level, drive revenue optimisation, and lead high-performing teams in a complex healthcare environment. You will have:
- Extensive experience in revenue management, financial strategy and legislative compliance.
- Strong leadership capability with a proven track record managing and developing multidisciplinary teams.
- Highly developed analytical skills with the ability to identify revenue opportunities and drive performance improvements.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills across executive, clinical and government settings.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a strong commitment to accountability, innovation and continuous improvement.

The Revenue Department oversees Private Practice Billing and Audit, Revenue Operations and Revenue Education, and is responsible for maximising revenue from fee-paying patients while providing expert advice to senior leadership on revenue management, systems and compliance.
It plays a critical role in supporting the Hospital's financial sustainability by identifying revenue opportunities, responding to changes in legislation and funding guidelines, and improving processes to fund both current and future healthcare services.
