We're excited to welcome an Operational Services Officer, Maintenance & Grounds to our Building, Engineering and Maintenance Services Department.

The OSO Maintenance & Grounds provides assistance to Maintenance staff within BEMS and carries out a range of semi-skilled and unskilled duties in support of the Department's maintenance function, including assisting in the maintenance and cleaning of gardens, grounds and external public areas.
The Building Engineering and Maintenance Service (BEMS) is a Sunshine Coast and Hospital and Health Service-wide service covering buildings, grounds, plant and equipment including medical devices.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Perform duties as part of a multi skilled pool of labour and participate in training to enhance skill levels to support the team.
- Undertake basic gardening, landscaping, cleaning and making tidy all facility gardens, grounds, paths, carparks.
- Clean and maintain main external public areas eg Main Entrance
- Inspect and monitor grounds maintenance carried out by contractors at all facilities and interact with Coordinators and Contractors for quality outcomes and contract management.
Salary between $69,486 - $72,833 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (OO3). (Permanent full time, 76 hrs p.f.)
