About us:
Yarrabah is a discrete First Nations community located one hour south of Cairns with a population of over 2800 people. The Yarrabah Emergency Department is operated by Cairns and Hinterland HHS and the primary health service is managed by Gurriny Yealamucka Health Services Aboriginal Corporation. A whole-of-community approach is at the core of the health equity agenda and is critical to improving health access and health outcomes for the Yarrabah people.
About you:
In your new role you will......
- Provide effective and efficient management of service in collaboration with the Director of Nursing, clinical and non-clinical staff to facilitate the provision of quality evidence-based care and to utilise skills to backfill leave for the Director of Nursing.
- Effectively manage self and assist and lead in the development of staff to enable fulfilment of clinical standards and roles responsibilities in the Emergency service.
- In collaboration with the Director of Nursing lead and coordinate quality improvement and evidence-based practice activities to ensure the provision of quality, cost-effective Health services.
