About the role:
- Deliver advanced, recovery-focused mental health care including conducting comprehensive assessments, developing treatment plans and evaluating outcomes to support people living in the community with serious mental health conditions throughout their recovery journey.
- Manage a diverse caseload within a multidisciplinary team, providing case management, mental health interventions, and ongoing support for consumers, carers, and families building strong relationships and coordinating care that is person-centred, evidence-based, and responsive to individual needs.
- Collaborate with a broad network of stakeholders, including General Practitioners, non-government organisations, hospital services, and community providers, to advocate for consumers and ensure seamless, integrated care across the mental health continuum.
- Apply advanced clinical judgement while supporting the development of students and emerging clinicians through education, supervision and knowledge sharing.
About you:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA and a valid annual practising certificate is mandatory for this position. While not mandatory, appointment as an Authorised Mental Health Practitioner under the Mental Health Act 2016 is highly regarded.
- You have demonstrated clinical knowledge and experience in mental health nursing, including the delivery of recovery-oriented care, assessment, case management and therapeutic interventions for adult consumers.
- Your strong communication and interpersonal skills provide you the ability to build effective relationships and work collaboratively with consumers, carers, multidisciplinary teams, and government and non-government service providers.
- You have proven ability to prioritise competing demands, apply sound clinical judgement, and contribute to evidence-based practice, professional development, and the support of students and less experienced clinicians.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $139,252 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $57.48 - $61.55 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
