About the role

Temporary part time opportunity to deliver high quality, evidence-based clinical neuropsychology services across the continuum of care to patients and families of Surgical, Treatment and Rehabilitation Service (STARS), as part of an interprofessional, collaborative team. The role may work with inpatients and/ or outpatients.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Deliver high level psychology and neuropsychology clinical services of a complex and varied nature within a range of settings across STARS in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards, with minimal direct clinical supervision.
  • Provide timely, high level clinical advice to a range of health professionals, supervisors, managers and stakeholders, both internal and external to the Hospital and Health Service, regarding psychology and neuropsychology management and service delivery in various clinical areas, including prioritisation and changes in clinical practice, equipment and technological advances.
  • Monitor and report on clinical practices and outcomes within specialist clinical service areas, and advocate for service improvements that enhance the delivery of psychology services across STARS and wider Metro North Hospital and Health Service, utilising identification and application of guidelines and business improvement plans.
