About the Role:
Oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of a rigorous and engaging Technologies curriculum that aligns with departmental priorities and supports every student to achieve their personal best. Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-expectations learning culture where students are challenged, supported, and empowered to excel academically and develop the skills required for future success.
The successful candidate will:
- Demonstrate outstanding curriculum leadership, with the capacity to lead, mentor, and support staff in delivering high-quality, evidence-informed teaching and learning programs that drive improved student outcomes.
- Exhibit exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, building strong professional relationships and fostering a collaborative culture focused on academic achievement and continuous improvement.
- Show a commitment to innovation and excellence in education, ensuring the Technologies Department remains responsive to emerging industry trends, contemporary pedagogies, and the evolving needs of students.
- Champion a culture of high expectations, data-informed practice, and academic success, supporting students to maximise their achievement and pathways beyond school.
- Contribute positively to the broader vision of Biloela State High School, promoting a culture where every student is encouraged to strive for excellence and reach their full potential.
