What your day could look like
As a Senior Dentist, you'll play a vital role in improving access to quality oral health care across your region. From guiding service delivery to supporting complex clinical decisions, you'll collaborate with a dedicated team to deliver care that meets the needs of both individuals and the broader community.
Every day, you'll contribute by:
- Leading and enhancing oral health services, ensuring safe, high-quality care for diverse patient groups
- Delivering advanced general dental care, including managing complex cases and guiding clinical decisions
- Supporting and mentoring dental professionals and students, fostering capability and confidence across the team
- Driving service improvements by evaluating programs, managing referrals, and strengthening patient-centred outcomes

You're an experienced clinician who brings both confidence and compassion to your work. You lead by example, balancing clinical expertise with a genuine commitment to patient care and team development. Whether you're managing complex cases or supporting colleagues, you're motivated by making a lasting difference in people's lives and strengthening the health of your community.
Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Dentist and relevant dental qualification
- Strong experience delivering general dental services, including complex case management
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor and support multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to patient-centred care, safety, and continuous improvement
You'll stand out if you bring experience in rural or regional practice and/or ongoing professional development or postgraduate study.
