What your day could look like

As an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Support Officer, you'll play a key role in strengthening cultural connection and supporting effective service delivery across the health service. From coordinating activities that improve access to care to working alongside teams and community, your work will help create better experiences and outcomes.

Every day, you'll contribute by:

  • Supporting culturally responsive care through coordination, follow-up, and patient engagement
  • Building strong relationships with community, stakeholders, and internal teams
  • Keeping services running smoothly through organised systems, scheduling, and communication
  • Contributing ideas and improvements that enhance how services support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
