We are seeking a highly organised, adaptable and technology-savvy professional to join our team, as a Teacher Aide, and support the delivery of exceptional learning experiences for students, teachers and families.

This role requires strong digital capability, excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and evolving educational setting.

About our School:

The Brisbane School of Distance Education (BSDE) provides lessons in an on-line environment to over 3000 students. Our school has a history of providing a unique learning environment for students who are located in a variety of settings across Queensland, Australia and the world. We are a leader in online delivery of learning for students. About the Role:

  • Contribute to the provision of a quality educational service by assisting and supporting teachers with the preparation and enhancement of learning materials and associated activities.
  • The applicant should be knowledgeable with One School functionality, Microsoft Suite and school compliance.
  • Training will be provided to the successful applicant on the use of "Teams" which is used to deliver daily lessons.
  • Knowledge of Education Qld policy and DOE standards are critical.
  • The role supports HODS, Teachers, Students and Parents, in providing a high-level service relevant to an on-line school.

About You:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • High level I.T. skills as many tasks are performed on-line.
  • Ability to work under the direction of a teacher in on-line classes.
  • Ability to problem solve and be flexible.

Please note: One of the working days must be Friday - the other day is flexible and will be negotiated with the successful applicant.

The successful candidate must be available to commence work no later than 8:00am, as school lessons are delivered online between 8:00am and 2:00pm daily.
